A new series of wear resistant compounds using an all-polymeric wear additive (APWA) offer excellent plastic-on-plastic wear rates and eco-friendliness with halogen-free RoHS compliance. Additionally, reduced specific gravity helps keep costs in line.
Wear factors can be reduced up to five times over other popular internal lubrication technologies while its all-polymeric nature allows retention of desirable host resin physical properties and provides easy molding. APWA compounds are available in five resin systems and can be customized for additional property enhancements.
