Which to Use?

Our "Specialty Compounds" processing conditions are suitable for use with most products. Alternate processing conditions for particular materials types are provided when available.

Specialty Compounds

Use these general processing conditions with compounds that contain any of the following additives:

• Glass Fillers
• Glass fiber
• Glass bead
• Milled glass
• Mineral Fillers
• Talc
• Calcium carbonate
• Mica
• Flame Retardants
• Lubricants
• Aramid fiber
• PTFE
• Silicone
• Molybdenum disulfide
• Graphite
• Conductive or ESD Prefixed Grades
• Carbon black
• Carbon fiber

EMI/RFI Shielding Compounds

Use EMI shielding processing conditions with compounds that contain either of the following additives:

• Stainless steel fiber
• Nickel-coated carbon fiber

PermaStat® Compounds

Use PermaStat processing conditions with compounds containing permanently anti-static additives.

Long Fiber Compounds

Use long fiber processing conditions with compounds containing long glass fiber additives.
