ABS Precolored Compounds Gain UL Recognition

WINONA, MINNESOTA, USA — RTP Company announces that its proprietary ABS compounds (RTP 600 HB) have been granted UL recognition in all colors at 1.47 mm. The compounds are UL 94 certified and have the standard 60 degrees recognition for electrical and mechanical properties.

"UL recognition means we can offer proprietary grades for applications that previously required brand name resins. This means competitive pricing, short lead times, no minimums, and independent material selection for our customers.

Precolored ABS compounds from RTP company have 5 day lead times for color matches and production. The company's extensive color library and matching technology ensures consistency and accurate cross reference matches to OEM and resin manufacturer color specifications.

New UL-recognized proprietary ABS compounds will also be introduced this fall to complement the RTP 600 HB family. The company will continue to offer a broad range of branded ABS compounds when specified.
