RTP Company Offers Bulk Shipments of Long Fiber Compounds

WINONA, MINNESOTA, USA — RTP Company now has the ability to ship bulk truckloads of long fiber compounds to its domestic customers. Approximately 45,000 pounds of pellets can be quickly and cleanly transferred from truck to storage silo, eliminating the disposal and handling of packaging and pallets. In contrast, standard truckloads of material packaged in Gaylord boxes contain just under 42,000 pounds.

Bob Wick, Product Manager for Structural Materials, remarks, "For some time now, we've offered the option of bulk shipments for many of our specialty short-fiber compounds. However, convenient bulk shipments on long fiber products are rare or non-existent in the industry. We believe our high-volume customers will particularly appreciate the savings in labor and scrap disposal, along with the convenience of bulk storage."
