Compounds Containing Fluoroguard® Synthetic Oil

[cover shot]

This study determines that Dupont™ Fluoroguard® (perfluoropolyether synthetic oil), when added to acetal and nylon compounds, improves the wear properties, static physical properties, and dynamic physical properties of the host polymer. An additional benefit is improved mold release and reduced mold deposits from plateout.
