PermaStat^® Compounds

Our unique PermaStat^® product line features a consistent surface resistivity of 10¹⁰ to 10¹¹ ohm/sq. These compounds are colorable and retain the transparency of the host resin.

Because they are free of carbon black and, therefore, non-sloughing, there are no conductive contaminants released in sensitive environments such as:

• Cleanrooms for medical product or electronic device manufacturing.
• Environments that must remain dust-free in order that products function properly.

Each is formulated to meet MIL-PRF-81705D static decay requirements.

PermaStat^® Compounds offer significant benefits over fragile surfactant coatings. By compounding the properties into the molded material, processors can eliminate expensive and time-consuming secondary steps.

In contrast to coatings, PermaStat^® Compounds function in all humidity levels. They solve problems in applications where material movement, high humidity, or time removes other anti-static agents.

Structural reinforcements, flame retardant additives, or wear resistant features can be incorporated into any customized formulation. Some products have UL 94 V-0 flammability recognition.
