Halogen-Free Flame Retardant Compounds
Halogen-free Compounds lower smoke and toxicity, and comply with halogen-prohibiting labels so products can be sold worldwide.
Product Characteristics
- Typical additives are phosphorous-containing, nitrogen-containing, and hydrated mineral systems in polypropylene, nylon, PC/ABS, PTT, and inherently flame resistant resins. Other resin systems will be available in the near future.
- Non-corrosive to tools and equipment, preventing costly processing damage.
- Eight standard formulas rated V-0 at 1.6 mm in broad range of materials from polypropylene and nylon to PTT and PC/ABS.
Typical Applications
- Computer/business equipment housings and components
- Appliances
- Telecommunications
- Building and structural components
- Commercial transportation
