Overview

Hot water moldable Polyphthalamide (PPA) is a semi-crystalline, aromatic polyamide. This material has the same advantages and limitations as the RTP 4000 Series.

However, this material can achieve maximum crystallinity at lower mold temperatures. Using lower processing temperatures also means faster cycle times while still providing optimal physical properties along with thermal and chemical resistance.
