Overview

Polyether-ester block copolymer thermoplastic elastomers are high performance engineering materials that bridge the gap between cross-linked elastomers and rigid thermoplastics. They exhibit exceptional toughness, impact resistance, load bearing capacity, and low temperature flexibility.

Their creep resistance, flex fatigue resistance, and resilience make them suitable for dynamic applications. Chemical resistance to non-halogenated solvents, oils and greases is very good, even at elevated temperatures.

Copolyether-ester have the widest useful temperature range of all TPEs: from -65 to 285 degrees F (-55 to 140 degrees C). Hardness ranges from 30 to 82 Shore D.

RTP Technologies that can be applied to polyether-ester block copolymer thermoplastic elastomers include: custom colors, specific gravity adjustment, , anti-static and conductivity modification, flame retardancy, and wear resistant lubrication.
