Accounts Receivable Analyst

RTP Company, headquartered in Winona, Minn., is a global compounder of custom engineered thermoplastics. The company has 18 manufacturing plants located in the United States, Mexico, Germany, France, Singapore and China. RTP Company’s engineers develop customized thermoplastic compounds in over 60 different engineering resin systems for applications requiring color, conductive, elastomeric, flame retardant, high temperature, structural, and wear-resistant properties.

We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst.  Accounts Receivable is responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient billing and processing of accounts receivable transactions.

Essential Duties:

  • Maintain billing system – create and send out invoices
  • Collection and/or resolution of outstanding accounts receivable
  • Monitor and maintain the AR Aging Report
  • Communicate with customer and internal departments to resolve unpaid balances
  • Maintain billing system – create and send out invoices
  • Apply customer payments
  • Calculate customer rebates
  • Maintain customer files
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end closing
  • Produce weekly/monthly reports
  • Provide supporting documentation for audits

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Accounting and/or Finance is preferred
  • Proficient in data entry and management
  • Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Skilled with working in a fast-paced environment
  • Aptitude for meeting deadlines
  • Strong communication skills
  • Good at working independently
  • Strong work ethic

  • Organized
