Shuttle Driver – Winona, MN

RTP Company, headquartered in Winona, Minn., is a global compounder of custom engineered thermoplastics. The company has over 20 manufacturing plants located in the United States, Mexico, Europe, Singapore and China. RTP Company’s engineers develop customized thermoplastic compounds in over 60 different engineering resin systems for applications requiring color, conductive, elastomeric, flame retardant, high temperature, structural, and wear-resistant properties.

RTP Company is currently seeking a Shuttle Driver (Class A CDL) in Winona, MN. This position is responsible for the safe transportation of RTP Company materials, products, and other general commodities as directed by the RTP Company Transportation Department. It is anticipated that 60% of the duties related to the Shuttle Driver position would be shuttle/inner city work between RTP Company buildings and vendors and 40% of duties would be operating a forklift loading and unloading trailers.

The ideal candidate will exhibit the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Must be willing to work 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) and overtime as needed
  • Must be willing to work weekends as needed
  • Must have a satisfactory (as rated by DOT) driving record
  • Must be able to regularly lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work process, and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
  • Must be dependable and have excellent attendance
  • Must have the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must have the ability to make decisions within the scope of the job responsibilities
  • Must have a positive attitude
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
