Global custom engineered thermoplastic compounder RTP Company, announced the opening of a new manufacturing plant located in Monterrey, Mexico. The 57,000 sq. ft. (5,300 m2) facility is fully-operational producing specialty thermoplastic compounds.

“RTP Company’s Monterrey operation has been established to support our growing customer base in Mexico,” said Julio Sauceda, Regional Sales Manager – Mexico for RTP Company. “The Mexican plastics industry’s use of engineered custom compounds has advanced to the stage where direct and local support by RTP Company is required — to provide both the personalized assistance we are renowned for and to effectively serve the needs of global OEMs.”

In addition to being capable of manufacturing RTP Company’s product line of specialty compounds, the new hub will host an extensive range of customer support capabilities, including product development, technical service, and native language customer service. The plant is RTP Company’s tenth production location and its fourth outside the United States.
