NOVUS Glass partnered with RTP Company to create a more sustainable injector nozzle for its windshield repair systems. RTP Company developed a glass fiber reinforced PLA bioplastic that provided the strength and thermal performance NOVUS required while using renewable resources. The new material consumes less energy, produces less than half the carbon dioxide of the previous polypropylene, and can biodegrade in an industrial composting facility.
