- Automotive approved compounds for trunk release handles
- Available in PP, ABS, PA 6/6, PC, PMMA and elastomer resins
- Supercharged compounds for long afterglow
- Lot-to-lot uniformity for superior processing
Glow-in-the-dark compounds are widely used for automotive emergency trunk release handles; new photoluminescent pigments allow compounds to be formulated which provide options in glow intensity and duration along with color and cost. Photoluminescent compounds are available in a variety of resin systems, including polypropylene, nylon 6/6 and ABS.
Additional uses include lighting interior switches and knobs for quick identification without the expense of wiring and lighting systems. Formulations are available offering laser-marking compatibility which provides clear labels that are illuminated by the glow-in-the-dark material.
